Because let's face it, the guy doesn't always nail it.

I ordered PSF Organic Moisture Mask as a treat for myself.

Hadn't thought of it necessarily as Valentine's Day presents for myself, but I have been on a bit of a buying binge! I've purchased stuff from Ifeelprettyproducts.com, Mario Badescu, drugstore.com, Lumiere MMU, and VitaCost, though that last one isn't really very glamorous! I'm planning an SAS purchase as well. Wonder if I'll have any money left to pay the bills? Embarassed

And I'm going to Sephora tomorrow! That is, if I can force my debit card back into my wallet - it keeps trying to jump out and run away! They make the weirdest, high-pitched screaming noises when they do that, too! Very Happy

An impending breakout. I've 3 punnets of strawberries dipped in dark chocolate setting in my fridge. Why do I do this to myself? Rolling Eyes

LOL we ladies always find an excuse or an occasion to treat ourselves, don't we? I've been on a shopping spree since the beginning of the month buying things from Cle de Peau, La Prairie, Alima, Lumiere, Lily Lolo, Peter Thomas Roth, Decleor, Phytomer, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Nars, Dr. Hauschka, The Organic Pharmacy, etc etc!!!

I bought myself a gold necklace and a diamond ring to make myself feel better- oh ya, an antique ivory necklace too. They're pre owned on ebay so I felt like I got a deal. Both pieces feature the Plumeria flower because I miss Hawaii. I shouldn't have done it but Valentine's can be depressing. I'm jaded. I think men buy crappier stuff over time when their not trying as hard. Even if they tried (which is the most important) I would rather they took me to the store and told me to choose from a selection of gifts. I wouldn't want the most expensive thing either...just something in line with his income and his devotion to me.

I got a bunch of stuff on my trip to HK a few weeks back - especially shoes! Also got myself a pair of diamond studs. Gonna check out Barbie loves MAC in a few days so I know I'll be buying stuff then too...sigh...I feel so sorry for my wallet. Laughing

I plan to treat myself to something, I just don't know what yet Laughing Actually, since DH doesn't buy for Valentine's Day, I may just get myself the traditional Valentine's gifts for myself. Chocolates, a card, and flowers are all nice things Smile Maybe even a stuffed animal!

Well, I didn't think about it at the time, but I guess the timing of the arrival of my Alima brushes and my EDS order can count as my Valentine's Day gifts to me. Even though the timing of arrival was slightly off on both. Wink

I think that means that they don't count as Valentine's gifts, so you still need to get yourself something Laughing

Just in case you need to justify another purchase Wink

Oh, I'm so glad I read this. Yes, I bought Kinerase Pro-therapy eye cream & their lip treatment. My honey gave me the most fantastic gift this weekend. We had 2nd row center at "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?" staring Kathleen Turner & Bill Irwin. Mesmerizing play & performances!
