I am interested in using a face oil either at night or in the mornings but wanted to know how simple it is to make your own?

Currently I cleanse my face using OCM but I really wanted to apply an oil such as Evening Primrose or some sort of light oil that works well on sensitive redness prone skin.

Decleor makes their Rose d'Orient variety but I have not tried it. Can I make a similar version myself? Lastly, can I apply Evening Primrose (or another rose type oil) directly to my skin?

Its possible. You should check the DIY section with many different oil formulations. And evening primrose oil is a base oil. You can apply it directly to skin. You can use it as the base oil for your DIY Decleor essence.

I think I posted this topic on the wrong forum. Maybe it can be moved to the DIY section? I'm sorry about that.

I thought about making a simpler version of the Decleor Rose d'Orient because I've never done DIY before. Would something simple like Hazelnut oil, Rosehip oil (or Evening Primrose oil, don't know which one would be better) and then Camellia oil be a good choice? Are there some counteractions with any of them?

My skin is combination right now but it gets oily during the summer. I am redness prone and it is a bit sensitive. I thought making my own version of the Decleor oil might be something for me to try. Smile
