I got my samples Im a bit unsure how much i like it though. Its so runny, i dont know if id rely on it if i was going to be in the sun alot but if im just getting a little sun it would be ok. It reminded me of LaRochePosay when i put it on,has a similat texture. With the alcohol in it im not sure id want to use it everyday.
Does anyone know what percentage the zinc oxide is though? |

I've used the Nuance Up a couple of times but can't quite figure out if i like it. As light as it is, it seems to be quite oily and I am worried that it will aggravate the few spots that I have or cause more. I haven't consistently used it so I can't say if it is in fact causing me to break out, but I'm scared to use it every day because it feels oily. Does anyone know if it is oil-based? |

Hi Julsey
That's surprising because it's silicones on silicones - I can't find any oils in it. Here are the ingredients from another thread
Quote: |
ZINC OXIDE
ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE
DIMETHICONE
WATER
CYCLOMETHICONE
ALCOHOL
LAURYL METHACRYLATE/GLYCOL DIMETHACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER
TALC
PERFLUOROHEXYLETHYL DIMETHYLBUTYL ETHER
GLYCERIN
PEG-12 DIMETHICONE
TITANIUM DIOXIDE
EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS LEAF EXTRACT
THUJOPSIS DOLABRATA EXTRACT
CETY-PG HYDROXYETHYL PALMITAMIDE
BIS-METHOXYPROPYLAMIDO ISODOCOSANE
BUTYLENE GLYCOL
CERAMIDE 2
HYDROXYETHYL ISOSTEARYLOXY ISOPROPANOLAMINE
HYDROXYUNDECANOIC ACID
POLYSILICONE-9
METHICONE
ALUMINA
SILICA
BHT |
I haven't read of anyone breaking out from it and for me it's way drying. |

I said 'surprising' but that's not to say it doesn't 'feel' oily going on. I reckon it uses those volatile silicones which are there for slip and spreading whilst applying and then evaporate in the air. |

Yeah feels oily to me when first going on then dries matt. I find it a little drying. Definately need a good moisturiser underneath. |

Thanks for your reply Molly. It probably is the silicones then that give it an oily feel. I'll try using it every day (I will have to, it is 40 degrees celius over here!), and will hopefully be able to make a decision |
