I don't know if anyone feels that hair ages too! I think that when hair starts to become lifeless, thins and then hair loss gradually increases. Can anyone share some solution to this? Is the an anti-aging hair treatment?

When my hair becomes lifeless, thin and more hairs fall out than usual - it really reflects my poor diet. So if I have been sick and have been eating poorly then, eventually, my hair will show that as well. But, the same thing might happen naturally with age.

I'm not sure about anti-aging hair treatments, but there are supplements that you can take to increase the health of your hair/nails. E.g. horsetail & MSM.

I know they are serums for the scalp. Has anyone ever tried them?

I've heard that taking supplements of Vegetable Silica helps strengthen hair & nails. As far as thinning goes, I've also heard of menopausal women losing or having their hair thin. If you're not in this stage of life, I would advise speaking to your doctor; could be a symptom of something underlying.

Oh, and a GREAT shampoo line to consider for thinning, weak hair: Nioxin. They make an entire range of haircare for this purpose. http://www.nioxin.com/about_nioxin/index.cfm

Mabsy, you're right on. When I start eating like c**p, then my hair shows it right away. Dull-looking, etc.

A friend of mine also had the problem of thinning hair, she was convinced that it started to occur when she cut out chicken from her diet. She started eating chicken again and she reckoned that her hair improved.
I'm a veggie for over 18 years, I loose loads of hair but I've still got thick hair - so to speak, so who knows!!
I've read numerous reports - all good - that horse shampoo is excellent. I keep forgetting to buy some, but if anyone else has tried it please fill us in on the outcome.

When I went into menopause, my hair started thinning and got dry, brittle and frizzy. I chose to use natural progesterone cream for my meno supplement and my hair and nails improved tremendously!

Hi, i have thining hair problems too. and my hair were lifeless, until i tried Aminexil by Kerastase. This really helps my hair loss problems. It is a 6 weeks treatment, where you need to apply a vials everyday for 6 weeks. After using this for about 3 weeks, i noticed that my hairs loss problems have improved.

I bought mine from www.hairloss-hair-loss.com. you can also try your local salon to see if they sell Kerastase products. Smile
