The highest I found was 500 mg, so you may have to take 2 of them if you bought the 500.

n101 has 60 tabs - 1000 mg (Country Life $7.29)
and 100 caps - 500 mg (Jarrow Formulas $6.29)

So strange. I was at the drug store today looking for b5 & couldn't find it anywhere. I asked the pharmacist if she knew where I could find it & she said I need a prescription??

I take a Vitamin B complex supplement that I really like.

A good place to purchase vitamins in the US is http://luckyvitamin.com

Biotin:

Pantothenic Acid:

Take care.

I felt nauseous after trying Vit B complex twice this weekend. I took it on an empty stomach, and I was wondering if taking Vit B5 alone would generate the same feeling. Anyone has a reaction to Vit B5 like B complex?

Try taking it with juice.

Never take Vitamin B with anything carbonated.

Take care.

Biotin can indeed help acne and hair growth - and to much WILL cause an increase in acne. (as can to much of a number of supplements)

Been there done that, and I know a number of others that have as well. It is a commonly known side effect from to much Biotin.

For example, with me, anything over 3000 mcg of Biotin will cause an acne increase. Anything under that is perfectly fine.

The secret is finding the correct dose for your needs.

I will also add, I take B5 and Biotin in high amounts along with other supplements (MSM helps a lot on lashes as well) and all helped on lash and hair growth, but Revitalash still added to the growth I received from supplements alone.

So for me supplements did not replace RL. But together all is good. Smile And it is certainly an option for those who prefer a supplement only option.

I have the same reaction when taking any B complex except liquid--liquid B complex does not bother me.

I never take vitamins on an empty stomach. Always with food. I think they work with food, anyway, don't they?

Think 1000mg of B5 sounds like a lot to me. I remember taking 100mg of B complex and I felt not well at all so now I am only taking 50mg of B complex...
