I saw this in my grocery store the other day--- it's affordable and it smelled nice, AND it has a 5 star rating over at MUA. I might just have to crack down and try it... |

I haven't tried to sea kelp conditioner, but I'm a big fan of the apricot shampoo and conditioner! |

I've use the conditioner and the shampoo. I really like the sea kelp shampoo, but the conditioner was just ok. I have normal to dry hair, and I flat iron pretty often, so I usually add a lot of stuff to both my shampoo and conditioner to make it work better. I really like the JASON 84% Aloe Conditioner, but it might be too heavy for some.
I recently got the Trader Joe's Nourish that bkkgirl tried because it's so cheap, but after a few weeks, I think I prefer JASON. |

I am going to check out the Jason sea kelp conditioner next time I'm at Whole Foods. I have never used anything in the Jason haircare line. Now you've got my curiosity going about their stuff. |

I try not to use silicones in my hair products and I notice 2 of them, although they are down at the bottom of the list of ingredients. I will have to visit this product at Whole Foods and see if the scent wins me over enough try it anyway. |

Perhaps you'd better not; it sounds like you're very allergic to silicone. |

Olyn-- I like the Apricot shampoo and conditioner too--- don't they smell great?
Marci65-- Like you, I usually prefer not to use silicones on my hair, however, since they're so low on the ingredients list I might give this one a go anyway.... If you end up trying it, please let me know what you think! |

Nope -- not allergic at all; I don't think anything I said alluded to an allergy. Just have a strong preference to avoid silicones in hair products, since I find they coat my hair. Gave up cones several years ago and no need to clarify anymore and I get great natural shine. |

I might have totry this as silicones are pretty low compared to my usual brand. Jason's stuff is available at Wegman's, too. I love their toothpaste. |

Liz, I almost purchased the jason seakelp shampoo last month, but the bad reviews on MUA turned me off. I opted for jason jojoba shampoo instead and find that I really like it. the formula was kinda thick, but i added extra jojoba oil and a spoon of seakelp bioferment and some liquid BGs and I seriously think I made the best shampoo ever.
I haven't tried their conditioner yet, but if you don't like it, you can always "fix" it. I love adding honey and extra oils into "bad" conditioners. I save so much more money now instead of just tossing out by shampoos and conditioners.
