Hi everyone:

I know Juice Organics is made by the same company as Juice Beauty and I also know that most people say Juice Organics is a lower quality product.

I was wondering if anyone tried Juice Organics' Apple Peel. I have heard such great things about Juice Beauty's Apple Peel but I don't want to invest so much money into this product. Even the sample sizes are $13.00! I don't mind that the ingredients are in a lower concentration, since that probably means I will have a lesser chance of reacting to the ingredients.

Any thoughts?

I think people have mixed reviews about this one. I personally didn't like it and would not repurchase. I'm familiar with AHA and enzyme peels. And this peel only has bout 8% AHA and it felt very hot and burned my skin. After which my skin was red and when the reddness subsided it had none of the refined exfoliated texture most AHAs give. For me it wasn't worth the money and the irritation. I had better results from Neostrata 8% toner and 15% gel. I also prefer PSF Pumpkin Enzyme Peel which I felt retexturized the skin alot better.

I've seen Juice Organics for sale at London Drugs (Canada) and if it's similar to Juice Beauty I'd pass. I used the sensitive Juice Beauty and found I went very red and the results just didn't justify the heat.

I've used both the Juice Beauty Peel and the Juice Organics one and i'd definitely say that they are extremely similar and if you don't want to splash out on the Juice Beauty one then using the Juice Organics will give you a great idea of how this product is going to work for you. I found barely any difference between the effectiveness of these two products.

I have been satisfied w/ and actually repurchased Juice Organic's Peel. I finally tried the JB peel & felt it was a slightly superior product but for the money you might as well try the JO first to get an idea of how it works. I will say I have very reactive skin so maybe the less intensity of the JO product works better for me. Having said THAT, JB also has a sensitive skin version GAP that I haven't tried. For what it's worth I'm still trying to make up my mind about which product I'm going to go with. If $ were not an object I guess I would take the JB.

Thanks everyone:

I might give the Juice Organics one a try.

I just noticed it at Londond Drugs last night and I had been eyeing the Juice Beauty one on this site for a while.

I am concerned about irritation though. I need an exfloliating mask but I have hyper-sensitive skin. Would this be appropriate or should I look for something more mild?

The only thing I'd say is try at your own risk. There has to be better exfoliating masks out there that don't massacre sensitive skins.
