I haven't tried the original V8, can't get myself to drink it. When tomato soup gets cold it makes me want to vomit. The other V8 juices that are mixed with fruits and stuff are quite delicious.
I'm sure the original V8 juice has a lot of vitamins and minerals along with other additives, but just can't drink that sucker down....blaaah |

I love my V8 or tomatoes half glass and orange half glass, mix together and it's yummy... better than splash |

V-8 is not loaded with sugar. V-8 splash is--it's a totally different drink, and I don't believe it has any veggies in it. There is a new V-8 out that is fruity & veggie based, but the veggies are sweet potatoe and something like cucumber. Not as healthy as the regular!
I used to hate V-8, but my doctor recently told me to start drinking protein shakes made with vegetable juice. Not the flavored kind of protein though! How gross would vanilla or chocolate be mixed with V-8! I use low sodium V-8 and unflavored protein powder. I mix it in the blender & then pour it back in the bottle so I'm set for the week.
It tasted pretty gross the first few times, but after a week or so I really started to like it. The protein powder gives it a nice creaminess, and I cut it with water a bit so it's not too thick. This is definitely the healthiest protein shake I've tried! |
