 Yep poo! Gross subject I know but I came across this

and discovered mine isnt healthy! I also saw someone on Oprah saying the exact same thing. Well mine are never firm like that so how do you get healthy bowel movements??

Maybe the researchers need to be rehired to do more work - like come up with a "pooh BMI". For a certain size/age/other variables, the mean pooh size is whatever, and so on. Then we would have pooh size tables, you know. That would be far more representative. Do you think they would get government funding for research like that?  
All this research could have potential benefits - toilets and flush strengths could be designed for "big pooh" people vs. "little pooh" people (think 3 flush buttons to push labelled "bigP","middleP","littleP"). The potential savings come from incremental water savings, and fewer clogged toilets caused by the naughty big pooh people. Ooh, and if people are justing getting bigger and fatter over the decades, what about their pooh (and the impact on the environment)? As we have measures of individual environmental footprints these days, would we have individual environmental poohprint measurements?

Hmm I've never known anyone to have 3 bowel movements a day after every meal... the healthy people I know are "regular" in the sense they go once a day at the same time no matter what they eat. Plus what you eat ultimately determines the end result no matter how well your guts are.
One of my Bf's work stories, a guy did literally do an 18-incher, but they had to get a second person to help pour a huge bucket of water into the toilet while another person flushed... Imagine us having to do that for every "healthy" movement...  |

I hate to say this, but there might be a little truth in it. When I had my colonoscopy, they had to clean me COMPLETELY out. and I mean completely. After a day or two, my first on was about a foot or so. I have never had one that long.....they said that it is healthy because that means your system is clean from residue, etc., and I definately was clean!
Oh my God, I can't believe I'm even discussing this on here. I guess it's because I have been going into great detail with mt gastroenterologist about everything. Made me a little immune to the grossness I guess!!  |

| I have mixed feelings about the article, not sure whether to laugh or cry. I agree that a person needs to empty his/her bowel regularly to be healthy, but 3 times a day is what I call a diarrhea. I'd be lucky to go every day. Most of the times I get so busy I forget to go and there ya go! I missed a day. As it happens, when the nature calls, you should not hold, but if you do hold, it's gone until the next day. That's my story and I stick with it. |

This is disgusting, how can these people pose with their sausage kebab poos like that? And that pooh in the colander - I only ever have salad vegetables or pasta in my colander, how can they put pooh in a colander. This is nothing short of sacrilege.  |
