I really would like to try the mud (just got it in!!!) but I think my skin is a bit dry, so I'm going to try the cleansing milk tonight. I got the sensitive and oily skin kits, plus an extra ocean cleanser. They threw in 8(!) mask samples (red and white) and so I plan on posting the ultimate review in time, since I think I now have a sample of every single product except the hydrating oil.
to the APC users, how much are you using? I normally use a small pea size of moisturizer but this appears to be almost balm-like and I don't want to over do it. |

small pea size is good, you don't need much. rub it between your fingers to warm it and then pat it into the skin.
BTW: i think the mud is best left for mornings anyways. |

thank you for keeping us updated. APC is pretty amazing, isn't it. you'd think it would break you out, but nooooo. and i'm glad you're getting the poreless effect with the mud. i never would have believed it if i hadn't seen it myself.... |
I know I keep going to the website to look around, knowing full well, I plan to press the buy now button... But, I did find this on the site:

We suggest Osea Ocean Cleanser for normal to dry skin or Osea Ocean Cleansing Mudd for oily skin types. Cleanse with a modest amount of friction in circular motions for 20-30 seconds.

and this

Black Algae Mask
Benefits/ Features:
An intensive exfoliating mask that leaves skin looking fresh and rejuvenated after overexposure to sun and pollution. The Black Algae Mask brightens the complexion by exfoliating surface dead skin cells. Black marine silt and pure fig extract, a rich source of malic acid, work together to soften and exfoliate skin. Leave mask on for ten minute application and then gently massage off finger tips to activate the micro black jojoba spheres for deeper exfoliation. The powerful combination of antioxidant and anti-aging agents contained in Black Algae Mask gives the skin instant glow! |
who's gunna be the guinea pig?!
Oh, and directions

Red Algae Mask Friction Rub
Step One: Cleanse your skin with Ocean Cleanser for normal to dry skin or Ocean Cleansing Mudd for oily skin types.
Step Two: Apply Red Algae Mask to face and neck. Allow to dry 8-10 minutes.
Step Three: Standing over a sink or basin, gently begin to rub off the drying mask with a light friction rub. You should feel the mask peeling off along with the top layers of dead skin cells.
Step Four: Rinse with warm water.
Step Five: Follow with Osea Sea Minerals, Skin Essentials and Moisturizer.

Anyone try the mask this way?
I think I'm gunna order before, I spend too much. Maybe they'll hook me up too! (Did you drop any names for that waffle?! 8 samples yeehaw!) |

I didn't drop any names -- I actually think the oily skin kit comes with some samples of the red algae mask even though it doesn't say so (they were in the kit) and then they gave me some on top because I requested them specially. I also bought $90 worth of samples so I think they figure I'm worth some $$ to them in the future |

I didn't get any mask samples, My kit was sealed! I didn't purchase direct from them, though. I will this time thanks to la vie en rose . |

I am just DYING here because I want to try every single product in front of me right now!!!! But since products can break me out, I know I should try them one at a time for 4-5 days EACH so I know what works and what doesn't. ehn! Hard! But, I want to avoid the problems we beauty junkies always have, which is "I don't know which one of the 6 million products I used (or a combination of them) caused this zit/rash/breakout/facial explosion" and then the obligatory and unpleasant retreat into using nothing and starting from scratch after your face picks itself up off the floor. |

I'll be the guinea pig for the black algae mask! I'm ordering this tomorrow! I am still waiting for my cleansers to come and when I emailed to ask if the order had been sent out, I got a reply that it shipped USPS. That I am not too happy about as I thought all orders went out UPS. |

Really? I LOVE USPS Priority Mail, and I'd personally like to hack to pieces the CEO of UPS--for me, I'd be jumping with joy! Who wants to deal with infonotices, where they tell you to be home between 8 and 4, and never can give a more precise time???
Please let us know how the black algae mask goes!

That's interesting Avalange. I don't deal with any of that with UPS. They deliver, right to my door, whether I am home or not! I'll keep you posted about the black algae mask. I love all of the osea stuff I am using! |

I love USPS too! The mailperson always comes around lunchtime, whereas the UPS guy always comes right when my SO gets home so he gets to see the prices |

Got an email from Osea. They are in the process of discontinuing UPS and going to Fed Ex. They said they had a lot of problems with products getting broken through UPS. I was just unlucky when I ordered and mine went USPS. Still have not received my cleansers yet! Hopefully tomorrow. I am waiting until I get back from my trip before I order the black mask, as it will not get here in time before I leave if it comes by USPS. |

i'm confused . . . did you use the mud cleanser after your regular cleanser? i thought the mud took the place of any other cleanser . . . |
