What a great event, wish there was a similar one in Australia, I am now the proud owner of a rescue pooch, she arrived a couple of days ago - rescue organisations really struggle for funding. I hope this event brings some much needed funding/support to these organisations. |

I hate to say this, but I'm not a big fan of Purina. Their company was, and I believe still is, involved in animal testing where dogs were left in solitary confinement and, in some cases, kept in a laboratory for their entire lives whilst underfed to monitor their health, etc. They also refused to sign up to a non-testing pledge.
