I would love to have some recommendations for an inexpensive tinted moisturizer for spring and summer, preferably with a high SPF. |

Your favorite moisturiser with Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate mixed in. |

How about Elizabeth Arden Sheer Lights Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15? To me it worked as well as some other expensive ones. |

lynn2525, I just tried it with an old liquid foundation I purchased last summer and didn't care for the consistency - too heavy. Thanks good cheap solution. |

Foundation + moisturizer came out too heavy? From my experience, I find it's the best way to get the right tinted moisturizer. It's best to use a lighter face moisturizer rather than a thick heavy face cream. Also, you need to mix the foundation and moisturizer well in your palm before applying it too your face. If the color seems to dark in your palm, add more moisturizer. If it's too light, add more foundation. The color and coverage are very adjustable. I love using my old foundation up this way, so I don't waste anything. |

Sorry lynn2525, the foundation was too heavy when I purchased it. Mixing it with the moisturiser helped considerably to lighten the texture. I'm thinking I might want to get a little darker shade though. |

Oh I'm sorry I misunderstood. It must have been my poor English. Gosh, I'm embarrassed
In winter when my skin gets lighter and foundation I buy in summer is too dark, this is how I use it up instead of storing it for the next summer! |

Don't be embarrassed. I appreciate a suggestion that isn't going to cost me money and is so simple. |

I like Clinique's Almost Makeup. It's a nice tinted moisturizer that goes on very nice and doesn't clog my pores. |

I love Neutrogena Tinted Moisturzer spf 30. Its my summer stand by. I do not need a moisturizer at all when I use it. I liked Almost Makeup from Clinique but it made me a bit oily in the humid summer months. |

Juice Organics tinted moisturizer SPF 30 is 14.95 at CVS. I have to dust with powder after to take away the shine.
*** I seem to recall someone saying they're on clearance now for half price. |

If you are looking for something inexpensive to try, Revlon Age Defying Light Makeup is very comparable to Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in my opinion.
