Hi all,

What is a good whitening product that is suitable for combination-oily skin that will not cause acne or breakout ? I would like to try some whitening product but afraid it would make my skin breakout.

Appreciate your feedback.
Thank you.

I know Peter Thomas Roth has brightening and lightening products that are safe enough for oily and acne skin. You wanna use whitening stuff for acne scars or just prevention? I heard Skinceuticals serums and phyto corrective gel also help to even skintone and lighten dark spots.

These are the only pdts I know that are suitable for oily/acne skin.

I prefer a product that can even out skin tone and make it fairer at the same time. I dont really like to use products that contains hydroquinoine. I used it before but it doesnt do any good for my skin. Is there any whitening products that contains botanical ingredients like vit-C that is not too harsh on skin ?

Phyto + from Skinceuticals/Primacy is great, and will also help with oil production.

The product is presently in the testing phase and has seen dramatic results over the past three months so if you hold on there will be a good product that everyone from oily to combination skin can use. I have oily skin and the product is great. It gives me a matte look when applied.
