so, after a long search for an all natural cheek tint/gel/cream type product, based on amylola's suggestion, i'm about to place an order for the 100% pure lip and cheek tint in the sugar plum color. before i do though, does anyone else have any thoughts or experience with these tints? rants or raves before my cc gets some more action Smile

haven't used it, but have eyed it before. Let us know how you like it. Oh, and feel free to try out their lip glosses and let us know how you like those too. Bad Grin

Hi, I use something called Cheek Gloss, (a sheer natural colorant for cheeks and lips). I purchased it fromwww.prairielandherbs.com.

Ingrediants: certified organic sunflower oil, castor oil, beeswax, mica/oxides, vitamin E oil.

The shade I purchased is Brick, a very natural color for my olive color skin. I really love this product and it has not caused any problems with my acne-sensitive skin. I use it all of the time!

It also comes in a good sized tin that lasts forever!

Hope this helps.

Hi, i haven't tried the tint but I have the fruit pigmented lip gloss in strawberry. I am not that impressed actually. i remember being worried about the gloss being too dark or light, but it is nearly invisible really. I hope the tint is better. i think amylola made a posting about the tint somewhere...

Hi, I checked the site and could not find a clear view of the color offerings. When I purchased the Brick, I just guessed, because it is a color I tend to look good in. The tints have quite a bit of pigment in them (more so than their lip glosses). The color is very natural looking and stays on (even in Florida where I live). You can also layer different colors.
You may want to contact them (they are very nice people!) to ask about a color chart. I have used their other products also and have been quite pleased.

amylola's actually how i discovered the 100% pure line and esp the cheek tint. i wouldn't mind it being really sheer, in fact, i'd rather be able to slowly build up cheek color since i'm pretty fair to begin with. i'm more concerned with whether it would aggravate acne. here are the ingredients:

Ingredients: Fruit Pigments of Plum, Pomegranate, Red Wine, Cranberry, Strawberry, Blackberry and Raspberry, Vitamin C, Shea Butter, Grapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Honey Beeswax, Vitamin E and Natural Strawberry Flavor.

do you think the cocoa butter is a problem?
in the prairielandherbs cheek gloss i'm a bit worried about the soybean oil . . .

On the zerozits website they list cocoa butter as a worse acne ingredient than soybean oil although they give them both low marks! I just can share my personal experience with the prairie land herbs cheek gloss. Maybe because I just use it on my cheeks and lips, it does not have a negative impact on my acne, but I think a lot of ingredient usage is trial and error. I used to be phobic about any oil on my face, but, partly from joining this forum, I've realized that some oils have healing properties.
Here is the zerozits link about oils an other ingredients:
