hi, i am a teenager w/ an oily t-zone. i know it's not from eating the wrong foods because i'm eating healthy. it's probably from hormones. i am looking for a product(more like a gel) that i could put on in the morning after washing up that would keep the shine away. thanks. |

Hi Dpot,
There are quite a few mattifying products out there. Some products that EDS stocks that might help you are:
Decleor T-Zone Intensive Anti-Shine Care
Decleor Hydra-Matt Regulating Fluid
Babor Perfect Combination T-Zone Control
Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel
Juvena Personal Skin Collection Skinmarine Mat
I haven't used mattifying products before so I'm not really all that well versed in what else is available (I just did a search on EDS for them). Hopefully others will be able to offer some suggestions or personal recommendations as well.
HTH

one thing to keep in mind is not to try and overly dry your skin. in the end, this will end up making your skin more oily. a good routine including vit C, exfoliation and a good mattifying product will go a long way in keeping the shine at bay.

ketsugo also have gel that reduces oil production.
Benefit's Dr.Feelgood is very good for controlling shine.
Yonka's Pamplemousse for oily skin is nice and light.
Sorry I couldn't recommend any other from this site. |
