What do you use for storage? I've seen a lot of people with drawer units and I like that. But where do you get these, and where do you get the inserts to put the lipsticks and stuff in? Any information and pictures you have would be great Smile I really need to redo my stash.. putting it in bags is so hard for access.

Any ideas? Smile Thanks girls!

Hi,

Have you tried a beauty supply like Sally's? I just put my make-up in my make-up bag.

This is what I use. They are stackable and hold quite a bit, helps me keep relatively organized.

I use a Kaboodles case. It's made of hard plastic and has a few different compartments for my liners, bases, lipsticks, eyeshadows, etc. It really helps keeps things organized. I bought it about a decade ago at Walmart for $20 or so and it's been great. When I travel, though, I just use a soft cosmetic case.

Check out The Container Store. You can order online. It's fantastic for any storage including make-up.

I have a makeup drawer and I use little plastic divider compartments to separate eye stuff, blush, foundation, etc. I got the dividers at The Container Store a long time ago, but I know they carry similar products now.

I use 3 of the steri-lite drawer thingies that Candy uses, for my bath and body items. That's 9 drawers worth; I keep them in my closet. For my high end makeup, I use a lovely premium fishing tackle box, with shelves and compartments that fold out. I keep it on my vanity. Such style!

I put mine in little weaved baskets. I wish I was more organized though as I have to dig through things to find what I want!

I have two of these Fira storage drawers from IKEA:

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?cattype=sub&topcategoryId=15561&categoryId=16152&parentCats=15561*16296*15776&storeId=12&catalogId=10103&langId=-1

I use one to hold nail stuff, hair stuff and random skincare items that I'm not using at the moment in my routine. The other stores all the makeup I'm not using during my daily routine (the daily stuff is kept in small set of clear acrylic drawers on my dresser. Something like this: http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?CATID=74526&PRODID=69698).

The Fira drawers are a little nicer than the plastic Sterilite things (which I've also used) since they're wooden and can be painted or finished to look pretty. They are a slight pain in the butt to put together, though.[url]
