Ok, so I noramlly use the tanning wipes but the store had a sale and I bought the spray. Well I guess I went a little overboard and now my feet look horrible! Have no idea how I am going to wear sandals this weekend in Texas where it is 80F!
Any tips on how to remove the excess tan that is covering my feet?
I have been scrubbing then with my sea salt scrub, but am just wondering if anything would work better?
thanks!

Baking soda watered down will remove it - just do it gently. Tangal is the resident faux-tan expert. You can check outwww.sunlesstanning.com - there is an article posted there that outlines the removal procedure.

Maybe you meanwww.sunless.com Smile ?

heres the direct link -

To other great feet options:

Coat feet in babyoil and wear soaks and soak for 20 min. Then soak in a tub of warm soapy water for 40 minutes, and scrub feet with irish spring or lava bar soap and nylon mesh gloves. It will remove most.

In the furture when tanning feet and hands look at these tips.

The messageboards are very helpful as well:

Ha! No worries. Smile

I am also a member of that messageboard, so if I see you post over their Canadagal, just Shout out to me and I will help. There are many VERY nice helpfull people there though, who have "been there done that" and can really offer great info.

I am Vicki II/III over there, but if you yell "Tangal" I will see it as well. I am a Moderator there, so on that site everyday.

Wish I'd had all this info in 1987 when I thought I would look cool tanned and ended up like a streaky carrot! Laughing

Hope I'm not too late for you, Tangal, but for outright colour stripping, my tip is to bang on some hair bleach. I'm talking frosting kit strength, here. I did it accidentally once. In seconds, orange to white. Shock

For blotches, I buff with an emery board. This is a good remedy for when the colour's taken a bit too much in some places like elbows and heels. (If you do try this one, be careful to exfoliate really thoroughly before the next application of self tan, because it takes more readily in the spot-buffed areas)

The self tan removers I've tried just tend to lighten it a little.
