| For those that use JI eye lining pencils, do they stay put on their own? I don't wear eye shadow every day; usually just liner and mascara, and I don't use anything to "seal" the eyeliner pencil. So I am wondering if the JI pencils last through the day, since I don't usually have time to do touch-ups on any of my m/u. |

| They work very well for me. I also use Dr Hauschka eyeliners and they are great as well. I usually apply my liners after I have applied one brushing of loose powder on as well as eyeshadow. Then I finish off with a very slight final dusting of loose powder over top. I find this gives it more staying action. |

NO!! Not with me anyway. Others may tell you different. I just wear liner and mascara too so don't use anything to "seal" it. It does smudge onto my upper lid really easily. Love the feel of it though as it glides on really easily.Maybe thats the problem! |

With your question in mind, I tried an experiment today. I applied the Black/Grey pencil along my upper lashlines, a thin unsmudged line. It was the only makeup I put on -- no primer or base, no shadow, no mascara. (I was home alone and could get away with it.  ) Seven hours later, I checked the liner. It was still there, a clean unsmudged line. Great stuff! |

| Wow, that is great news, that you ladies seem to be getting consistently good results! Thanks for posting back. I definitely need some new pencils and I really like JI quality. |

| Over the weekend, I went to Sephora and told the SA that my MAC pencils seemed to smudge/melt by lunchtime and asked for recommendations. She suggested the eye pencils from Makeup Forever, so I ended up getting 2 of them. Today was the first day I used one and so far I'm impressed. I got the plum and it looked just as good this evening as it did this morning. I usually like to give things more time before I rant/rave about them but so far so good! |

| Sorry, I'm not understanding... is Makeup Forever part of Jane Iredale? I've never heard of this in the JI line. |

I dont think so, I was just giving another option for eye pencils with staying power. |
