| I have very dry skin in the corner of my eyelids, also under my eyes. Is there anything you can recommend that i can use in these areas please. |

You might want to do a search on the forums for eye creams. It is widely discussed. 
My suggestions: DHC q10 eye cream, Eye Bright, and Concentrated eye cream. |

| It's reasonably expensive, but I haven't had this problem once since using Valmont Eye & Lip Contour cream. You only need a small amount, sits well under eye makeup and you can layer it on top of eye treatments such as Avene Ystheal, etc. |

| If your skin around the eyes is sensitive, I recommend Rosehip Oil. |

If it's eczema like, try Claifornia baby Calendula cream, or any calendula cream. It's helped me with dry patch by eyes and on lips  |

| When mine are dryer, especially during winter months, I really like PSF's Super Hydrating Eye Treatment. It's a little spendy; but a little goes a long way, and it's quite effective. |

| I find for eye creams I have to switch it around every now and then so my skin doesn't get too used to the same cream. My favorite is by Prada because it's the only one out there that you can actually use ON the eyelids. I know some people complain that they have oily eyelids, but there are tons of products out there for that problem, and very little for those of us with the opposite problem! |

At night I like to use Best Bath Store's eye cream. In the day, I just use what I use on the rest of my face: Zenbiotic Oxytoner, Phyto Moisture and Sun Protector and Moisturizer.
This combination has been very effective in treating my dry, flaky eye area and lids and I haven't gotten any milia (which I am prone to). |

| i think estee lauders advanced night repair is quite good for dry eyelids, cos i bought this only to get the free samples and their advance night concentrate was ok (but not anymore, i hate it!)...and this eye cream is really moisturising, i think too moisturising for me tho, so could b right for u |

I second this. If I ever get an eye irritation or feel the skin around my eyes drying up a bit I always dab on a little rosehip oil. Make sure it's organic and of superior quality though, as you don't want to get a crappy oil which will make it worse. Nice thing about the oil is that it will not only help soothe the dry skin and moisturize it, but it's great at refining small lines and wrinkles with continued use too! For a gentle eye cream I would suggest either Primavera or Dr Hauschka. |

I was watching qvc uk the other day and a lady rang in to ask the beauty expert a question like this, saying that the skin around her eyes was dry, i assumed the expert would recommend a thick eye cream but she said that you should look at what cleanser you are using on your eyes, do you use your normal facial cleanser on your eyes, she said that if you are you should stop using it around the eyes and use a proper eye make up remover as the skin around your eyes is very different to that on your face and obviously what you are using on your face does not suit your eyes, she said that gatineau floricils is one of the best on the market.
Maybe you should try using a diffeent cleanser around your eyes first before trying out a really expensive eye cream.

A really reasonable item is Candy's "Eye'll Be Seeing You" roll-on. I absolutely love this blend of oils and it does not irritate my eyes (I place it all over my eye area - eyelids, under eyes, etc.):

I haven't tried this yet but am becoming a 'believer' in Candy's stuff. Tried her Triple C and Firming first - just FAB - and have just ordered her DMAE & Magic Mask.
If the Eye'll Be Seeing You is half as good as the C & Firming, I'll probably buy it too, altho' have no real problems with my eyes. |

"Eye'll Be Seeing You" is great for more than just the eye area. And it's a great carry along moisturizing treatment. I've been known to use it on my lips  |

| i have dry eyelids as well from time to time, i usually put a dab of La Mer moisturizer on the dry spots and it seems to work fine. |

The only thing that helps my dry eylids is a hydorcortisone cream designed for the eye area- Prevex HC. I use it for about 2 wks and them I can go months with out any dryness.
It comes by prescription only though

Good golly CGI, you must live in Alta to have such dry eyelids. If you have ever seen The Shopping Channel, you might try Eliz. Grant's eye serum for daily use. Am sure it's a lot less xpensive than a prescription & easier on your skin.
I know, E. Grant looks like over the top, etc. But I finally caved & purchased this stuff, along with her am and pm serums in the January airing and they saved me from 'winter' skin. In fact, was so impressed, also bought her Biocollasis day & night creams from her March airing. Beautiful, moist, plump, dewy skin for my 'maturing' face. When I looked at the volume she sells when she's on, I realized these buyers must know something I don't, so took the plunge.
E. Grant doesn't receive a lot of attention (she's based in Cda after all) but I have been nothing but xtremely pleased with my purchases. Can't live w/out the eye serum.

Silly me, forgot to mention I also bought E. Grant's Biocollasis eye cream. A DREAM for the eyes. The Bio line is for maturing or v. dry skin and the creams are very light. Much lighter than any others I've seen for dry or even normal skin. No oily residue whatsoever from them. Sink right in too.
Honestly, they are worth a try. Another of our Cdn (Alta) gals who contributes to the forum also vouches for these creams. And the prices, pay plan, delivery can't be beat when featured on TSC.

Oops, also forgot to mention, NO PUFFINESS with the Bio eye cream, nada . How great is that! Just  this stuff.
My gosh, if I can ever get my hands on a BabyQ at a reasonable price,it, along with my new discoveries (Candessence and E. Grant) my skin will look 20 yrs younger. And who doesn't want that....
