I'm looking for comparisons from those who have used/sampled both Osea's Advanced Protection Cream and Naturderm's Chrysalyx. They seem to serve similar purposes and similar pricing. I'm in need of a good moisturizer that I can use in BOTH winter and summer, AM and PM (but mainly looking for something in the PM to alternate with my YY balm). I'd probably thin these down with kelp/BGs/or something else if needed to, just want to know which is a better choice and which people seem to like better.

Please also state your skintype and the effects you find from either or both of these products.

TIA

Great question. I've tried a sample of APC and love it. I have normal/combo- drying in winter skin. I'm waiting a bit loger to see if the infatuation holds. Not tried chrysalyx. I'll be watching this thread too.

I haven't tried the APC, however, Chrysalyx is definitely HG material for me. I've been using it twice a day for 3 months or so now. It wears wonderfully under my makeup, doesn't clog my pores, smells great, AND it's helped my acne marks. I'm on my seocnd bottle, and will be definitely be buying it again. HTH!

I think la vie just posted a comparison on the osea ocean cleanser thread on the reviews board. this osea explosion is not very organized. I don't think many people have tried both.

I have never tried APC but I have Chrysalyx. I bought it to use at night time but I ended up preferring to use it in the morning.

sorry i'm not a good wrangler Laughing

it's difficult because this question has been posted in three threads, many watching at least two if not more of them. i don't want to seem like a jerk and not answer, but i also don't want to bore people reading the same post three times.... i know avalange has used the Chrysalyx i gave her (at least a few times -- i know she prefers APC) and probably has more to say on the subject, but she is presently playing host to a visitor and, what with all her other work, doesn't have much free time these days.

not your fault, la vie Laughing

the lemmings took over so quickly that we starting posting left and right under any osea thread regardless of topic. I'm sure the people at osea are wondering what the hell is going on.

to anyone who's interested in osea, the main threads are osea ocean cleanser and one entitled "oh my god, visible pore reduction in one use" and we have been discussing pretty much the entire osea line in both of those.
