It is a combo of an antibiotic and benzoyl peroxide. Some people can handle BP, but they are generally people with thicker, oily skin. I have heard that if your skin can tolerate it, it works well. I can't handle BP though, it makes my skin red and irritated. My guess would be that if your skin is dry, the BP is making it itch. try to use as little as posible, make sure your skin is well moisturized, and use it only where you need it. and of course, stay vigilant to see if it is an allergic reaction and not just dry skin itch. |

I have this but I use it as a spot treatment, that's how my derm prescribed it for me because I have very sensitive skin. It does make me itch and it will make the spot peel. I only use it for a cystic acne spot if I get one. |

Oh, be careful with this stuff. I used it for a year (about 3 years ago) and it didn't do much for my skin/acne. It worked at first, but then it was useless.
And it bleached all my towels, pillowcases and some clothing (i was applying to my neck). |

My derm recently prescribed this for me. I have only used it as a spot treatment and it seems to work ok for me. I do experience some drying and then peeling for my spots, but I suppose that's what it's supposed to do? |

Me too. Actually, I put it in my makeup bag, since I travel between my house and my bf's house. |

You may be allergic to benzoyl peroxide, the main ingredient in the Clindoxal gel. I have very resilient skin, but I can't use anything with benzoyl peroxide. |
