on my arms and my legs i have these freckles? they look like freckles... but when i look at the ones on my arms they look like expanded pores...the color is light brown
the thing is im asian, not to be racist or anything but not a lot (if any) asians have freckles and i have NO ancestors that are english...
i have so many skin problems >__<.. i probably have 5 different skin problems.. i hate this i never wear anything short becuz i hate to show my skin.. i know it would be easier if i went to a dermatologist but id like to try to solve this by myself first
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx |

Welcome! 
Are they increasing in size or colour? Are they itchy or sore? If not then it's probably safe to say that it's nothing too serious. This would leave you with two options: Try those skinlightening preps that are often reviewed here, many of which are specifically formulated for asian skin types, OR, learn to love them and see them as a mark of your individuality. Freckles can look really cute (ask anyone married or in love with a redhead!), so as long as they look healthy, ie not red or crusty  . It is possible that like many of us (me included  ) once you 'solve' one 'problem', you find another! We are all seeking perfection, but if it consumes you then it will make your life miserable or result in you actually doing something to damage your skin permenantly (see my thread on burning my face off lower down for a good example of this, I know what I'm talking about!)

| Hey I've got a similar problem to yours...my legs, especially around the calf and ankle area, are discoloured/freckled? they look so awful and I hate wearing anything short too. I've had this for as long as I can remember and it bothers me a lot, especially when summer comes! help! |
