Hi everyone: I just went to a facial the other day. It was brutal but two days later I'm looking good. One of the procucts she suggested was germaine de cappucini (I think the spelling is right!). Has anyone else heard of this? Question

I haven't heard of it before, but this is the website: http://www.germaine-de-capuccini.com/in/index.htm

Btw, what do you mean by "it was brutal"? Do tell! What was your skin like right after and what is it now?

Mabsy, it was brutal becuase my skin was really out of shape. I had under the skin issues, small skin colored bumps, and old marks. She used a ton of all-natural products and then on came the magnifying mirror and the brutality. She used needles and this weird blue electric current which felt like bees stinging. After the facial, well lets just say I went directly home, I did not pass go nor collect $200, I was red. This facial occured on saturday. By sunday my skin was smooth, a tad red, but easily hidden with concealer. I can't wait until my next appointment. She said she would normalize my skin, and I like the sound of that. SHe reccomended the Germaine de Cappucini products and another one which I forget but will find out and report back.

Anyone else have a facial like this? Results?

I think the "wierd blue current" you are referring to is high frequency. I love getting my skin zapped with it! It's not supposed to hurt though, in fact I can't feel a thing. It's antibacterial and literally kills zits and blemishes with it's high frequency.

Laughing Sorry, I know it wasn't pleasant but I just love your way with words! Smile

Wow, that sounds impressive! I'm glad your skin is looking really good afterwards. I'd love to try that high frequency blue stuff Smile Thoughtcrime - from what I recall your pain threshold is a tad higher than most people's Razz Although, maybe blg83 was just sensitive to it.

Maybe the blue frequency will get better. Razz
Overall, the exoerience was not too unpleasant. I am getting a bit discouraged today though, becuase my skin is starting to break out a bit today. Is this normal, and should the breakouts cease if I continue to go? I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

I like the sound of this!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I would guess that breakouts are normal if you are having something drastic done Think of the scum always coming to the surface....skim it off and presto! clear skin!

i like the sound of that: it makes sense that I would break out for a little adn then all of the inner "scum" would be out of my system. I am also thinking of doing a detox type of diet. ANy suggestions?
