theyr both quite expensive so i dont wanna waste my money...im chinese and there are quite a lot of eyelash curlers that just dont fit my eyes
these 2 brands are both japanese, so which one fits asian eyes the best?

i have heard so many mixed reviews...but shu seems to b more expensive and u cant buy replacement pads whereas with shisheido, u can

Mad i wanna eyelash curler that actually curls and not pinch my eyes!

Shiseido replacement pads fits Shu's.

If you're in the US Essence of Beauty replacement pads also fits Shu's.

I feel the same about both because both of them only work so-so for me.

I wanna try Suqqu's.

Hi yeahyeah,
How come both poll answers say Shu Uemura??

I only have Shu. Never tried Shiseido, so not sure if I could help if I voted Shu simply out of ignorance. LOL

I don't really think Shu is anything special and worth the price though. I would not buy it again.

Someone on the lash curler thread recommended Suqqu curler made in japan. It's also expensive, and Carrie tried it and loved it. You can buy it on ebay.

I have used both. Both are very good eyelash curlers too! But I love my Shiseido! With the Shiseido Mascara Base/Lancome Definicils, my lashes look longer, thicker and the curl stays all day long! I have very short and sparse eyelashes so I can't live w/o those three products!!

I'll say Shiseido especially if you got shorter eyelashes. However, apart from these two, Fancl's (another japanese asian brand) eyelash curler is also good and not too expensive! Smile

Shu Uemura made my eyes look more almond and Shiseido made it wider...I liked them both equally when I used to use eye lash curlers.

I have Shiseido, but when I was at Sephora and asked a sales associate, she informed they were exactly the same Confused so she suggested to go with the cheaper one. I like the Shiseido, where can one get the 3D one?

I have both and don't notice a difference at all. I mean, even the Shiseido replacement pads fit the Shu ... what IS the difference?

I have both of these. They look the same but when you use them, curl 3 times, they both give a different effect on your lashes. My lashes curl really easy, so I don't use curlers anymore, as I can get a curl with a regular mascara, and eyelash curlers make my lashes fall off. Sad

I also use the shu and curl three times from base to tip of lashes. I've never used shiseido.

Getting the shu curler in Hong Kong is a lot cheaper. I got mine when I visited in December this year for only HK$100. In Sydney, it is at least 3 times more expensive.
