Has anyone ever used this product? I just wanted to know if it is actually a mineral foundation/bronzer type product as well as an SPF or is it just an SPF product?? (hope that made sense Anxious). Seeing as there are different shades available I thought they might give considerable coverage as well, but unfortunately I don't know of any stockist in Australia so I can't go check it out for myself Sad

TIA Smile

Here's what it says on the actual Eminence website. What turns me away is the fact they don't list the ingredients anywhere I can find. Just " minerals, fruit extracts & zinc oxide. " For me, I have to know if it has either bismuth or mica at the very least.

Sun Protection in a Make-up Powder

Description:
Suitable for all skin types, this make-up powder offers:
• Effective SPF 30 protection
• Water-resistant; great for exercise or swimming
• Hypoallergenic for all skin types and great for both men and women
• Anti-inflammatory, healing, excellent for post-treatment (especially for red or blotchy skin)
• Clean, anti-bacterial and will not clog pores
• Loaded with vitamins and bioflavonoids
• Reflects the sun and keeps skin cool reducing Rosacea flare-ups and oil production
• Available in various shades for added cosmetic coverage; darker shades can be used as a bronzer
• Easy to use, apply and carry anywhere

It's both MMU and sunscreen.

Keeping in mind that I don't like MMU (or, I should say, it doesn't like me) -- I didn't care for it. At first I thought the built-in applicator was putting out too much product but, even applying it with a separate kabuki brush, it felt very heavy on my skin (it's advertised as being Water Resistant/Waterproof)

The powder is also fragranced (didn't bother me, but I know some don't like perfumes).

I was bummed -- I really wanted to like it, but it wasn't mean to be, I guess.

I also thought it was expensive!

I'm a little uncomfortable doing negative reviews, but thought I would just put it out there. I LOVE Eminence masks, though Wink -- especially the Sour Cherry and the Seven Herb masks

Thanks for the replies. Smile I also think it's pretty expense considering the fairly small amount you get, & I don't really like products with an in-built brush either I just find them a bit tricky to use. Confused But I might still give this a go with my next EDS order.

I've been looking at these and am hesitating between the #0 shade (transluscent) and #1 (honey apple). Has anyone seen these in person? I am pretty fair (MAC NC20). Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Well, I ended up getting the transluscent colour, and all I have to say is: WOW! Since it is summer and I have a bit of colour (although I try to avoid that as much as possible), I could have easily gone with the #1 Honey Apple shade.

It's not a perfect product by any means, I'm not crazy about the applicator, although I hate applying loose products and prefer a pressed powder, I suppose this is the best compromise. As far as the smell, yes, there is one, but it happens to be the same as the Stone Crop products, and I love it. As far as coverage, it's fantastic. But a word of caution to those girls who like their MMU matte - this has a slight shimmer to it (which I happen to enjoy). I love that it has SPF 30 (whereas most MMU have an SPF of 15 or 20 at the most). And I also love that I can easily carry it with me and reapply throughout the day.

I really have to give this 4 out of 5 stars, the major drawbacks being the price (sigh!) and the applicator.

I'm looking for some powdered sunscreen, but I think this one is really expensive with such small amount.

Since I use mineral make-up, so I think this is very durable sunscreen

I use this product as my makeup in the summer, and it provides enough coverage for me. I found it to be light coverage- which is what I like in the summer, because if it's too heavy it's just uncomfortable! I use number 2 as a base, and number 4 as a bronzer.

Is it sticky??? Many sunscreen products block my skin and make it oily.

I am an asian. I have wheatish complexion. Concerned if the cinnamon shade would give me a much more darker tint! I would like to try this product but am in a dilemma as to which shade to go for??? Any clues.
