To those of you in Canada and the States, "Happy Canada Day (July 1st) and Fourth of July!"  Having just been in Windsor, Ontario last week, I caught the Freedom Festival's fireworks last Wednesday. Neighbouring Detroit, Michigan and Windsor do this every year along the river, celebrating both countries' birthdays. Great show, with millions of people watching. I am in Toronto right now, and caught another fireworks display along the harbour. Cool! Will be heading back home to Vancouver on Sunday; have missed home, and especially Casper!
May there be some fireworks for ...... IndianT, this week's winner of a randomly-drawn $50 gift certificate! She may pick this up in her U2U message box.
Re: Detroit - unfortunately, Thoughtcrime and I were unable to hook-up for lunch, as time didn't not permit  I am now hoping that she will head out-west to visit Vancouver again  |

Wow, wouldn't that be something! Why do airfares have to be so expensive!?  I need to find a work related reason to go to Vancouver   |
