I've mentioned The Hour and it's awesome host George Stroumboulopoulos before.
As a current events-junkie, I the show, and try to catch it Monday-Thursday. The show has really kept me on top of issues/stories which I may have overlooked, or considered to be boring.
The show is Canadian, and has been on the air since 2005. Relatively new, but it's brought some life to the otherwise boring CBC.
Those whom do not live in Canada can't watch the show on their t.v. screens. However, I've just noticed that one can watch the show on-line, in it's entirety!

Of course, it's from the previous evening, as not to upsurp the daily ratings. The show is on Monday-Thursday, and the network recaps Fri-Sunday. It's an hour long, and with the beauty of the Internet: no damn commercials!
Seriously: it is a great show. Much wit, humour, and appealing to the cerebral palate. Georgie's a cutie too, so that doesn't hurt.
Therefore, ladies & gentlemen, bookmark the show to your favorites, and tune in. I GUARANTEE you'll be intellectually satisfied!

I discovered this show last week! I agree - it's very informative and entertaining. And George *is* very yummy!
Here's his website: http://www.strombo.com/
He has a radio show on Sunday (?) nite. I think you can hear it on the web (there's a link on his site).
He reminds me of Jon Stewart (but more mellow)...
