Hi
I'm new to this board, just wanted to say Hi and ask a question. Can anyone give me advice on how to get rid of Milia. I have this on my face and it is really getting me down. I have started using Dermalogica, always exfoliate, moisturise etc. What am I doing wrong??? I keep going to a Beauticians for them extracted every month, but they just keep coming back:mad: any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Hi,

From past experience and what i have read it suggests that you are using a moisturiser that is far too rich and comedogenic - clogs pores, i'm surprised the beautician didn't tell you this but i suppose you wouldn't go back as often and they would only lose money. This is only a suggestion, i could be wrong, but i suffered with milia especially under my eyes and on my cheeks. Decleor do some some lovely non-comedogenic moisturisers for all skin types and there are many others on this site that would probably do the same, ask Caspers mum, she is lovely and she knows her stuff.
Good luck

Hi Jody
Thanks for your reply. I thought Dermalogica was non comedogenic?? I have used Decleor in the past, but the problem was still there. It is driving me crazy, and proving costly too Mad

Hi,

I'm new to this board and feeling a little worried about ordering some stuff from Home Shopping Network by Elizabeth Grant called Torricelumn Pur, I think. Has anyone heard of this, and if so, do you have any comments or advice? I just ordered it and now I'm having 'buyer's remorse,' I guess.

My skin is rather oily and not really an acne problem, but prone to small break-outs and sometimes clogged pores.

Any advice?
