i want to try out a hair growth recipe that i found on the long hair community forums. it's based on this one, but with a bunch more e.o.s:
4 oz. jojoba
4 drops each of:
Clary Sage
Cypress
Lemon
Basil, Sweet
Bay
Geranium
Rosemary - Cineole
Cedarwood: Himalayan, texas or atlas
Patchouli
Thyme
Sage, Dalmation type
Grapefruit
and 8 drops of Lavender
my question is, what's the best way to mix these all together so that you know everything is dispersed evenly? |

As those are all oils they will mix readily. When I mix eo or absolues with carrier oils, I warm the bottle in my hands, shake and rotate it for a while and let it rest for few days. (I place them in cool and dark place for 2-4 weeks, but I mix them for fragrance and they need to "mature" a bit - but that's a different issue). |

Just add the e.o.s and shake the solution up. I agree that it's best to let give the final solution a few days before using it. And, it's always best to use an amber or cobalt (as opposed to clear ) container. |

as far as I know, after you mix them, the expiration date is very short and you'd better keep them in refrigerator. |

To help keep your oils from going rancid you can mix with vit E 0.5% or Rosemary Oleoresin .02% |
