My cousin bought the Sanyo IonVernal (HP-IP101) hair dryer for my mom while she was in Japan. I got the chance to use it a few times when I went back to Vancouver to visit my mom. I'm not sure if its the weather in Vancouver, or the shampoo/conditioner (just plain o'Dove), but my hair looked absolutely fabulous while I was there. No static and nice and shiny. It almost feels like it can dry my hair without stripping the moisture from my hair (if that makes any sense at all..)
Now that I'm back in Toronto and using my organic hair products again, my hair is back to being flat and very static.
My cousin said the 'ion' technology is what keeps the static from the hair. Does anyone know anything about this?
Anyone know how I can buy this hair dryer online? Are there any Japanese electronic stores that sell products overseas?
Can anyone read Japanese??

Hi there,
The dryer that you talked about is actually sold in the U.S. under the trademark Healthy Infusion by Wahl. Its model number is 5418 and is sold with a conditioning attachment in Walmart at around US$28. Try to get one from the US or see if you can order one online. It is adapted to 1875W for U.S. market. |
