Hey everyone! Long time no chat .
Ok well I'm interested in fixin' up my lips and I was wondering about any good vitamin c/retinal lipbalms and is it possible to formulate your own?
So far the only hardcore lip products I have noticed on the market is the Pevonia Lip Retinal serum and Jan Marini C-Esta lipbalm.
I go through lipbalm like crazy but I notice they don't really improve my lips just make them feel moisturized , I want long-term benefits. I allready use a lipbalm with SPF everyday btw. |

Hi Daniel! Well, I don't know much about DIY so I'll leave that to someone else, but I do have a few suggestions for you. First of all, here's a nice C lip balm that I used to use daily back in college:

Also, if you want a lip balm that actually improves and nourishes your lips you can also check out the Perfect Kisser balm by Perfect Complexion (I wrote a review in the DIY product section.) It's wax-free so all the natural oils etc in it go straight to nourishing your lips. HTH~! |

Thanks for the reply. I think I have that lipbalm at a drugstore I know of so I will check it out.
Question: does Magnesium Ascorbal Phosphate absorb /work the same way regular ascorbic acid does? |
