Hi,
I know one has to use these at different times of the day, but does anyone know the necessary elapsed time between applications?
If I apply CPs at 11:00 PM can I apply Vitamin C at 7:00 AM?
Thanks! |

It's recommended that you wait at least 12 hours between the two.
I use vit. c serum in the am and copper serum in the pm. If you use them too close together, the Vitamin C will loose it's effectiveness.

Last night I wanted to see what would happen if I applied my Vit. C and then my copper on top (1 hour later). When I woke up this morning I had rusted overnight! Totally looked like a fake tan gone realllll bad. |

I called Skin Bio about that a couple of months ago, because of my work schedule I needed to know. They said 8 hours in between was fine but not less than that. |

Thanks all! Eight to twelve hours seems to be a safe wait! |

Glad to know it's only the C that would be rendered ineffective if used with CP, and not both. I applied a moisturizer that contains a C in it this AM after I applied CP serum, and was like "OOOPSS" Well, since I didn't really care if the C in the moisturizer would be effective or not, it makes me feel better that the CP is fine. |

skincarefreak,
Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear that 8 hours is ok. I've been trying to do the 12 hour thing, but some days, it's just not possible. |

Thanks Ladies...you have made the info in this thread so clear!
I will be ordering the CP from Skin Bio, and I can start right away with the right routine.
I am planning Vit C serum (cellex C), and antioxidant serum (Juice Beauty Green Apple), in the morning and CP at night.
I am 50+, with normal combination skin, which is very tolerant. I am a bit confused as to which CP to start with...any suggestions??

I wouldn't worry too strictly about timings. I don't usually go to bed til 12 or 1 or so and I'd use CPs then I could sometimes have to be at work for 7.00. It worked just great. |
