I've just placed an order with Bare Escentuals bareMinerals mineral Veil, as I need it for my oily face, too bad it's not pressed powder. Now, I noticed glominerals Pressed Bases, but I don't know what colour to pick.

I wear Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Nude in winter and Sand in summer. So, I'm the in-between of these 2 colours. Chanel Double Perfection Compact in 40 Sable. Do you know which colour I should use? If you can send me the samples of these pressed powder with my order that will be great. I'm thinking natural-medium, beige-light or honey-light will be my colour. PLMK if you can help or I should call & hold off my order. Thanks...

It is extremely diificult to make a make-up selection based on a description of one's skin, or from looking at pictures on the `net/ One has to try-on a foundation (the most important piece of make-up!) to ensure that it matches one's skin. Unfortunately, we do not have samples for any of our mineral based make-up lines, as they have not been provided to Essential Day Spa.

Based on what you have described, you have warm undertones to your skin. Therefore, I would advise for you to choose from categories of "neutral" or "warm". Good luck!

Also, please note our return policy: we cannot exchange or return any opened/used product.

Thanks for your reply Caspers Mum, I'm a SE Asian/Chinese with very yellow based skin, I'll automatically turn darker in the summer. I know I never can wear the lightest shade, so I should stick with glopressed natural-medium then. Right?

I would stick with what you've been wearing, but to warm-up your complexion, you could consider using a bronzer. This should be applied to areas of the face that normally receive the most sun: cheeks, forehead, nose, chin. You want to look "sun kissed", not change the shade of your foundation.
