Good nutrition definitely makes a difference to your skin and overall health. Unsaturated fats, low glycemic index carbohydrates, good quality protein, water and raw fruit or a salad daily and you're on your way to glowing skin. This is a decent enough diet and at least it's easier to follow long term than the Perricone recommendations. |

I follow a low glycemic index quality oils/protein diet (fish, lean meat, nut flours, flax, lots of goos green veggies and berries) and have been on it for 4 years this summer. In addition to weight loss I noticed significant improvement in wrinkles and I am 51. I do also drink green teas and lemmon water and plenty of red wine. |
