Do I have to deal with redness for life?

I've realized now that I have sensative skin, and always looking for sensative skin products. Mainly it's around my cheek area, i've tried products from Estee Lauder, to dermalogica, to health food store brands. currently trying out La Prairie sensative skin serum, Feels really good does help with redness but it's still there. Please Help me! Does anyone Have this problem.. thank you so much for your help

I don't have that problem but Decleor Harmonie Essentielle (the moisturising cream) gets really good reviews from people with sensitive skin. It has helped me avoid irritation around my nose when I've been really sick with the flu and has also helped clear up my other half's rashes, flakes and redness on his face. There's been a few other posts talking about how it's helped them with their skin after suffering rashes or reactions to something. Perhaps you could get a sample of this and see how you go?

Btw, mineral makeup is great at covering up redness and it's also recommended to people with sensitive or reactive skins. You could try a powder foundation, like Bare Minerals or Jane Iredale for example, just over the affected areas and blend it out.

I remember trying the Harmonie Essentialle cream awhile back and thinking that it did help, but I only used up my sample and then stopped because I found out there was corn oil in it and heard that ingredient is comodeogenic ie. can cause breakouts, for some. But this may not be so for everyone. The thing about mineral make up I also agree with. I used Jane Iredale previously and thought it was so great, and then I tried Glo Minerals and this is by far *the best* mineral makeup, that covers redness really well. I was reading the ingredients list (the full list should be available on some sites), and it has green tea and vitamin K, not sure what a difference it makes, but it sure is nice to know its in there.

One thing that I've learned from my skincare adventures is DO NOT bombard your face with ten different things all at once. Also, 'all natural' products are not always what they seem cut out to be. I've heard that lines that have lots of botanicals and herbs can end up being more harsh, and this is not what you want to do if your skin is sensitive already.

I've heard that June Jacobs has two new serums geared towards redness. One is called Red Diffusing Serum, and the other, Raspberry Redness Recovery. I can't wait to try them, but they are a bit expensive so I'm going to have to save up a bit first!

Have you been diagnosed with rosacea,have broken capillaries, or do you just naturally have a ruddy complexion?

A few products to consider: Decelor Essential Harmony Cream or Emulsion, Sothys Clearness Serum & Immuniscience products, Dr. Irena Eris Dialated Capillaries products. Also, using one of the mineral make-up lines would be advised: Jane Iredale, i.d. Bare Escentuals,and Glo-Minerals. You can neutralize severe redness using something with a yellow undertone OR try a green neutralizing concealer.

I think that i'm just naturally blush mostly around the check area. it's not a bad thing looks like i have blush on all the time.. for a guy it's a bit much.. i would just like to have a even skin tone.. thanks for your help.. i'll check out the products you have listed.
