i've read that the new wrap mascaras (like the one offered by philosophy) wrap your eyelashes individually in a tube that never smudges, yet removes fairly easily with water and cleanser. i was thinking of buying it, but one of the complaints i read was that the user found it difficult to get off, and ended up pulling some eyelashes out in the process. since i can't afford to lose even one more eyelash  , i'd love to hear from anyone who might have used this product or something like it. |

| Hi, if you look in the Review section there is a long thread about the Blinc Mascara which works in this way. It tubes the lashes, there are mixed reviews on this, but many people seem to really like the mascara. I haven't tried the Philosophy one, but I do use the Blinc Mascara and I don't find it hard to remove at all. You just have to wet your lashes with water and the mascara does gently slide off your lashes. I think i've only lost 2 or 3 lashes whilst using this for the past few months, no more than I would have lost when using a traditional mascara. |

| I have used Blinc and don't find it that hard to remove. Just make sure that you really wet your lashes and then slide them out. |

| I've used the Mirenesse one. It is very thick and gives you that unnatural spidery lash look. It's ok but I prefer to use a mascara that has a white primer as I think you get a more natural thicker look. Also, you can't use a heated eyelash curler with Mirenesse as the mascara just melts. |

| I've heard quite abit about the Blinc one... is it waterproof? I'm still thinking about this one as it's kinda expensive over here, not sure if it is worth the money... |

thanks!!  i think i'll give it a try, although i am now also wondering if it's that easy to get off with water, would it sweat off in my yoga class or out running in the hot sun? |

Ive used the Blinc one before, I really doesnt smudge at all, however, if you are looking for volume these mascaras dont work. They tend to look very natural and dont build well but, if natural is what you want then this will do the trick. As fas as removal goes its actually very easy, wet your lashes then very gently push on the roots all over, this will loosen the "tubes" they should slide right off. |

it sounds like the mirenesse version might give some more volume and thickness than the others...still just wondering if it could sweat off  where did you find the mirenesse? |

I've used the Blinc mascara and it works pretty well. I ended up using something else because I like my lashes voluminous and thick looking - this mascara didn't do that for me.
Oh, and it was super easy to take off. |

| I wear Blinc Kiss Me - it doesn't smudge, even in the Georgia heat. I don't know about active sweat though, because I did find that while I have no problems with it coming off when swimming in a pool like I did this past Sunday (as long as I don't rub my eyes), when I went jetskiing in the ocean last fall, I had "tubes" all over my cheeks after getting soaked. I don't know if it was the salt water or the temp of the water (or the force the water hit me with - I got splashed in the face by my husband's rooster tail). |

| I've been using Blinc mascara for at least 2 years. It stays on (no smudges or under eye, in the crease lines) It comes off easily (do not rub your eyes after swimming!) Blinc mascara only lengthens, no volume at all. I was using it exclusively and I found my eyelashes became a bit dry/brittle. Solved the problem by alternating with another mascara. My last order of Blinc mascara I noticed a difference. No tubes! A mistake in packaging must have occurred. I hope they didn't change the formula. Before you fall asleep reading this ... I will try Blinc again as it did not irritate my sensitive eyes. If you can find a less expensive tube mascara, go for it. |

| thanks for all your help! i finally decided to try the mirenesse because it claims to add thickness as well as length, and there's a version of it that adds curl as well. i'll keep you posted when it gets here and i get a chance to use it. |

Is the Too Faced Lash Injection a "wrap" mascara?
I'm considering it and /or the Blinc mascara. I might get both (although expensive) cause I'm still looking for my HG mascara. I figure the Blinc would be more natural looking and when I want more thickness, I could use the Too Faced. I might get the Blinc in purple - from what I read in the thread on it, it looks black and glossy when on and it will be my 1st venture outside of strictly black mascara. |

Have a look atwww.mirenesse.com
This mascara comes of very easily with water. Rubbing it off in the shower is the perfect way to go. |

| Trish McEvoy has one that I really like--easy on/easy off. I tried the Blinc, but it didn't provide the coverage that my sparse lashes need. BTW--my new fave mascara is Two Faced Lash Injection-it can make any lashes look great--even mine! |

I don't think they have fibres - rather, they wrap each lash in a "tube" which when you want to remove it with water, slides off. |

| I tried one of the tube brands when they first came out...can't even remember which brand it was, but I just wasn't wild about it. That's not to say it's not good...it's more about personal preference. |

Ooh.. Too Faced Lash Injection is a wrap mascara.. I just read it on their site. I should go test it out at Sephora.. Olivia got great results with it.  |

| I just started trying this one - and it's pretty good. It doesn't clump, stays curled, doesn't smudge - and doesn't feel heavy. My eyelashes are really sparse and short and people will wonder if I even have eyelashes Anyway, I've tried the Blinc and found that a little flaky but this one is not. So far, so good ... |
