Thanks Juliemarie.
Another question is do you squirt the stuff into trays for a few days and wear it a la the whitening gel? Or do you just brush it on wit you toothbrush. TIA

Carekate I bought the Glyco mouth was stuff form the USA and gave a bottle to my 19 year old to use. He was reading the instructions and it says not to use it for more than 6 days so he won't use it!
What's your thoughts?

Hi,

Dunno if anyone has posted this so apologies if anyone has.

I'm in the UK and after a mega internet search have eventually found a UK supplier of Carbamide Peroxide ear drops with free p&p for tooth whitening!!! They have a 6.5% concentration which I think it the same that carekate mentions. And only £4.49!!

Here it is: www . audilo . co . uk/Wax-Away-Earwax-refill-pr-16180.html

(sorry cos I'm new the site won't let me post a proper link)

Hope this helps someone!! I can't wait to try this after reading everyone elses experience.

I use the Auro eardrops and also have use the other Glyoxide to brighten the teeth when I drink or eat something that stains the teeth - Red Wine!
It is a quick way to eliminate the Haze that comes over your teeth. I really have been happy with it.

I am a dental hygienist and a professor of dental hygiene. Carbamide peroxide is the active ingredient in most tooth whitening products. Don't swallow - I tend to leave it on for about 5 minutes if I can.

I have been using GlyOxide for a while, I use it every morning. It gives the mouth very clean feeling. Initially I used it with tooth paste, and now just on its own.

carekate...

after reading this a while ago..I went and bought my glyoxide...(i had to have the pharmacist get it..it was behind the counter)
and i can say..I brush my teeth with it twice a day....and kind of rinse it around...and in just a few weeks I have noticed a big difference.....

I used gosmile before..and it worked..but I honestly think...THIS works much better.....and lets face it...6 bucks VS 100 bucks....there is just no contest!!

thanks again for this information...that is why i love reading these boards.....

Thank you for all the great info. I am on my way to Walgreens to pick up some Gly Oxide. Does anyone see a problem using this with a whitening toothpaste?

No. Shouldn't be a problem. I am a dental hygienist and I use all kinds of toothpaste, swish with peroxide and use gly-oxide and auro drops.

If you see sloughing of your gingiva - gum tissue than change your toothpaste - all will return to normal. Keep the gly-oxide on the teeth as much as possible (No brushing your gums with it Laughing and you should be A-ok.

What exactly is the Auro Ear (wax removal) drop?

And does the gly-oxide sting?

sister sweets thank you for that. I applied the gly-oxide on my toothbrush then my toothpaste I will not to that tonight. Smile

Should I apply the gly-oxide with a q-tip and leave on at night or do should you rinse off?

I brush the gly-oxide on with a soft toothbrush - just lightly to get it all around the fronts of my teeth. I leave it on while I shower or try to leave it on for up to 10 minutes - even two minutes will brighten things a little - get rid of light staining. Then I rinse off.

I'm using the gly-oxide, so far so good...

However, has anyone heard of or use the product called "CELEBRITY WHITES' and what's your take on it.

Thanks

That's reassuring. I saw this post and I thought, wouldn't this make your teeth really really sensitive? Wouldn't it erode the enamel?

I'm very paranoid about my teeth and wouldn't want to harm them.

Should not make your teeth sensitive - You're usage is it at a low dose for a short period of time. If you do, by some long shot experience sensitivity it will resolve quickly. Won't harm your teeth. Try it three times a week for 2-10 minutes.....
