Are there others out there that people like as well as the Shiseido brand?

It's sometimes hard for me to find that one...so it would be great to have equally effective alternatives.

Thanks, BF

I personally have never used a lash primer before, but the one's I have heard great things about are from Paula Dorf, Shu Uemura & Blinc. I haven't heard much about the Shiseido one, but have been wanting to check it myself too. Think

My favorite is the lash primer from Trish McEvoy. It's terrific, and available at lots of B&M as well as online stores. hth

What do you use to the lash primer for? Shiseido one holds curls. Is that your aim? Or to increase volume?

I used to be a sceptic, but I am loving my Chanel primer.

Until I got suckered into getting eyelash extensions again ... don't do it.

I absolutely love my shiseido eyelash primer. It helps my short, sparse, asian eyelashes hold a curl.

My lashes have grown in length since using Revita lash and I still use Shiseido Masacara Base everyday.

Hmmm, what is a lash primer actually? Is it a clear mascara before applying more mascara? What does it do?

For moisture, I use Talike Lipocils. For volume, I use the one that comes with L'Oreal Volume Shocking.

My experience:

- Shiseido is good and cheap (red tube), my friend brought me from Japan
- Lancome Cils Booster XL

Both contain white fibres which help to "add length" to your lashes.

I have just started using a primer in the last few months and it really helps.
I am using the Shisedo and I find it holds the curl and primes it for the mascara and I also noticed that the mascara is not flaking like it use.
