Despite doing all the 'right' things my skin has objected to the long haul flight, change of water/climate then long haul flight home. Nothing major but a few minor break outs rough texture, dehydration etc. Midnight Secret gave a brilliant boost but the underlying ickyness is still there. Tried exfoliating, keeping myself hydrated etc.
I was horribly jet lagged coming home (and took me a few days to stop waking up at the crack of sparrow kneecaps in the mornings when I got to the USA)but three days in and I am finally feeling less yuk and managing to sleep when its actually night time albeit not very well! Followed all the advice re: jetlag so feeling better but my skin is still showing signs of all the upset!
HELP! How can I kick start it back to its usual good tempered, smooth clear self and clear the blemishes?!?? How long will this last? |

oof, I hate that! try using a good salicylic acid cleanser or cream to clean out the pores, and get some of those emergen-c vitamin c packets and drink 3 a day (can find them at any health food or drugstore). then take a steamy bath with a nice hydrating mask or clay mask if your skin isn't too dried out. |

Thanks Waffle - will try all of your suggestions and go get some Vit C sachets tomorrow!!
Also just remebered I have some Dr Hauschka Rythmic Conditioner ampoules in the cupboard somewhere and they recommend them for after travel so may give them a go - use them last when my skin got upset following trying a new product and they worked great! |
