I just started using mineral makeup and love
it except it transfers onto the phone etc.
What's the best product to use to set it?
One that is a good price would be great too !

any spritzer such as lavender mist or psf spray mist. I pay about $12.00 for a 8 oz bottle or I make my own and just keep the spray bottle (I am not using mineral make up anymore, but I was). The other key is layering both the make up and the spritz.

mineral makeup is a loose powder type of makeup that is highly pigmented. it can be used wet, damp or dry, and can be blended w/ moisturizer to create a liquid foundation type consistency to apply.

i'm pretty positive that if your makeup is mineral makeup (MMU), it will be marketed as so.

Unless any ladies know any of any incognito brands out there...why they would want to hide that, i don't know...

as a faithful consumer/user/abuser Wink of MMU myself, I don't know why any makeup companies would want to hide that fact!

btw, I use Jane Iredale balance spray as my spritzer. It's lovely.

A great refresher to use during the day when the makeup looks a little blah...

I use the Avene Thermal Water which has a nice mist. I used to spray it over my face (lightly) when I had applied the power mineral makeup, but now I am using Dollbird's tip of misting the brush and then applying. Works great! ALTHOUGH ... I DO still get the makeup transfering (like if I use the phone) so it doesn't completey help with that.

I used to use tap water in a fine mist spray bottle, then I remembered I had some PSF O2 left, so I used that for a while. Since getting Marys products, I've been using the Pearl Mist. I think the Pearl mist works the best.

I use Caudalie Grape Harvest Water or Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Both are awesome.
