I have chronic sinusitis. I love my neti pot and have been using one for years!
Thanks to mtview, I read about the NeilMed Sinus Rinse (it's like a squeeze bottle application)www.unimedprod.com in this thread. I saw it in Walgreens, so I got it and tried it for the first time today. I have to say I like this as it gives some propulsion to the saline rinse versus the free flow gravity method of the neti pot. It also comes with packets premixed with salt and baking soda. It's unbreakable and easy to keep clean. Very portable.
I think this is going to replace my neti pot!
Check out NeilMed's comparison chart of the products they sell (they also sell a plastic neti pot with a lid (which would solve the problem I have currently with my stainless steel neti pot - the water often comes out of the top onto my face at the same time as the tip if I fill it up): http://www.unimedprod.com/pdf/comparison.pdf |
