hi guys, i'm new here and i must admit i've spent a good hour reading everyones posts haha
anyways, PLEASE help me. i'm fed up, sick and tired of trying i even have a list hehe
- my skin is a quite sensitive, does anyone know how i can fix this???
- how do i get clear skin? i get pimples every now and then but i use poractiv, then my skin goes dry then i use a moisturizer and then i get shiny skin it's just one big depressing cycle...
- what's the best way to get a great complexion???
also i wanna go to my doctors and ask for some medication (does it even work?) but right now i don't have as many skin problems, but they'll be back and i think she won't give me anything cos there doesn't seem to be any 'real' problem. but i can see it, and it's upsetting
any help will be greatly appreciated

dont worry, take it easy. since its a long way to treat your skin to an ideal result.
decleor's essential oils is quite helpful to sensitive skin and La Mer is also a nice solution for sensitive skin.
You should go to a doctor's to check out what is the cause of your allergic. And also pay attention to the food you eat, you know, some of them are the source of allergic. |

Piano player, I've never used poractiv but I've read some bad things about it on some skin boards.
First, what do u mean by sensitive skin exactly? Maybe you should indeed see a doctor to see that you're not allergic.
There are plenty of products that can help and clear your skin but first if you can give more details (age, how bad is the acne, what products you've used in the past....). |

Have you ever tried the Dr Hauschka line? It works really well for blemished skin, but a good idea is to use the Rhythmic Night Conditioner the first month that you first do the switch, because some people experience a small breakout, me included, especially with the cleansing cream. The night conditioner is not cheap but believe me, it is worth every penny. I have been using it for 2 weeks now because I started to use the Dr H line, and my skin looks fantastic in the mornings. |

Tell us more about your skin and what you do to it.
I would edge away from Proactiv, though, all that benzoyl peroxide is not good for your skin in the long term. |

thankyou! thankyou everyone i will defiantly look into all those suggestion
k well where shell i begin, i eat healthy, the acne isn't that bad it's really hormonal pimples i'd say, it's off and on. the last 'time of the month' for the first time it got worse and since then i've lost control. and my skin is more sensitive to weather like heat etc. then products but still some products i've used were a complete waste of money cos of the way my skin reacted, and proactiv i guess really isn't the best product for me but i wanted someone that was at least gonna help me, everything else just doesn't seem to do the trick... |

I definitely think you should go to a dermatologist if this is bothering you. The key is in finding a good dermatologist.
A dermatologist understands that the skin's condition is always fluctuating, so don't worry that your skin doesn't look too bad at the moment. Simply explain to her how bad it can get. Given that your problems are hormonal, she may advise you to check with your gynecologist about testing for ovarian cysts, as that can be a trigger.
In all likelihood, she will prescribe a topical treatment like Klaron, Differin or Tazorac to treat the acne. Perhaps she will put you on oral medication like antibiotics. It doesn't sound like your condition is so extreme as to require Accutane.
Personally, I never had a problem with a topical treatment or antibiotics drying out my sensitive skin, but each person is different. Either way, your dermatologist will no doubt recommend a lightweight moisturizer, with sunscreen, that won't irritate your sensitive skin or cause breakouts. |

Hi! I have dry skin so I can't really recommend products for you. I have heard many good things about Ice Elements helping with your skin care concerns. It's a new line here at EDS. It's a very gentle line. I would recommend you go over to their website's message board and email the owner, Shelly, in the Ask Shelly section. She will email you back herself quickly with her recommendations. I hope that helps. |
