What kind of olive oil do you use? Do you use olive oil that you can purchase in a supermarket? |

At the moment I'm loving both Babor & Decleors cleansing oils, because they get rid of everything! But I'm thinking of using a DIY cleansing oil too. |

Thanks Moonstar! Please do let me know how it goes. |
So I tried it last night without the Clarisonic and using a cotton pad afterwards soaked with some toner didn't seem to pick up any residue. However, I was only wearing minimal makeup (mineral) so maybe if I'd had a fuller face of foundation the result might have been different. Also, I use a wet washcloth to rinse my face afterwards which probably helps to remove any left over residue. |

I use the NCN cleansing cloth instead of cleanser. My face is sooo much cleaner. In the beginning, I tried using the cloth after my regular cleansing routine. It is amazing how much make-up was left behind. Now I skip all the prewashing and just use the cloth. Simple, effective, cheap and my skin is VERY happy. |

Wow! Thank you! I felt the cleansing gel didn't remove my mascara at all! Plus it's a bit too drying for my dry skin. But if I had oily or normal skin, I would definitely go for it. Do you wear a sunscreen? Do you find the cleansing gel remove it well? Also, would you consider repurchasing it?
I'm thinking about getting the Yon-Ka's cleansing gel for my mom. She likes using cleansing milks or cleansing gels although she prefers cleansing gels. I'm thinking about either Decleor's cleansing milk or Yon-ka's cleansing gel. She's very picky with smells, so if a product doesn't have a nice smell, she won't use it. Cleansing oils and cleansing balms are out of the question as she thinks they're too complicated to use. By the way, she wears very minimal makeup (just compact foundation with a little blush). |

What's NCN? Also, where did you get it from? |

Does Decleor's cleansing oil has the same consistency as the Babor's one? I find Babor quite thick compared to Shu Uemura's one. |

I used to make a DIY cleansing oil but the whole OCM routine got to be a real hassle, especially if it was late at night and I was dead tired.
I use DHC or Laventine cleansing oils and love them because they rinse away with just warm water. And nothing removes waterproof mascara and gel liner like an oil! |

I use a seperate eye makeup remover, so I've never used the YonKa Gel as an eye makeup remover. I do wear a sunscreen (Remergent SPF30 currently) and both with the Clarisonic or the wash cloth, it seems to take it all off.
I would consider buying it again, infact, I was pretty sure about it, BUT my eyes have drifted now to the Kate Somerville coming to EDS and I think I might try her cleanser next time. |

My mom doesn't wear any eye makeup so the cleansing gel might suit her. I think I'll order it for her next time I place an order with EDS.
This is off topic, but I saw on your signature that you use Ice Elements, what products are you using and would recommend? |

Shu umura cleansing oil is the best and i have been using their second bottle. It can even get rid of heavy make up. But I would use Lancome eye make up remover for eyes( Sorry, Lancome, this is the only product I would recommend to people). |

DO cleansing creams also remove eye makeup, or are you all using a separate product? |

Mine has to be Chanel Precision -for eyes and lips. very good in removing waterproof mascara. But find it a bit on the costly side. |

Oh ya, just something to share here. As I have always had this problem of this tiny bump/cyst (not sure how to call them) at the side of my eyes, they can only be rid of using laser but will come back again. So, my derm has advised to use new, fresh piece of cotton wool soaked with eye make up remover for each eye, never to carry over from one eye to another , in that way will ensure throughout cleaning of eye-make up to avoid this type of bump. I have followed what she has advised, yes, it does improve my eye area skin condition. At least, the bump don't seem to multiply or grow biggerin size. |

I've been really happy with Laventine's cleansing oil. I stopped experimenting with cleansers/makeup removers when I saw how well this product worked for me. |

I always use wipes. I like the fact that they're not oily. I'm using Lise Watier's wipes right now and I'm quite happy with them. |

I second that. It removes makeup beatifully.
But I think no matter what you use, wash twice always does the trick. |
