My derm just gave me a prescription for Renova. He told me to start out using it every other day. Once you stop using Renova does your skin go back to how it was before? For anyone that uses this what kinds of results did you have.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Hi
Ive just got some Renova from Medsmex. I was told by alot of ladies on here that Renova was more for aging and Retin A for acne
Im just wondering what order to apply products when using Renova - do apply this first and then a moisturiser or just use the renova at night alone. Also can you apply under the eye. My main problems are crepiness and saggy lower eye area, crows feet and frown lines and mouth to nose lines |

I just got some generic renova from medsmex as well - my first time ordering from medsmex and first time trying retin-a period. I bought a tube of 0.05% as well as a tube of 0.1% with the intention of starting out using it either very sparingly or over some type of moisturizer to act as a buffer. I haven't started using it yet though and wanted to ask anyone more experienced - as long as you aren't peeling or getting too red can you assume that you're tolerating it okay and therefore step up either the percentage or amount you're putting on your face? Do you usually see irritation quickly or does it take a few days? My skin is pretty tough but I want to start out carefully to see how I tolerate the retin-a. Also, some folks have said in past posts that the medsmex retin-a didn't seem quite as effective as prescription retin-a sold elsewhere. Any thoughts? |
