I see their products are not tested on animals, and they have products that are vegan, for those ladies who are vegan.
I think I'll order their Heather Berry and Pink Oleander shadows. The colors look like they'd enhance my blue/green eyes, and anytime I see a product with "Heather" in the name I just have to get it! |

I've tried them. They didn't work well for me. I did like the Lip Reflections Mineral Gloss in Twilight Dunes (love the eyeshadow in that color, too) - but most of the other colors I tried were way too shimmery for me (there seemed to be a lot of gold or silver pigment in them & that look is not a good one for me). |

Oh, kim, thankyou. I thought of you when I saw them, because I know you like their mu, I was going to pm you and ask your opinion, but I thought I'd show them to everybody because the ingredients are so nice.
I cant do shimmery lipsticks either, so that's a shame. I dont like shimmer at all, I wish it would go out of fashion completely!
I'll have a look at the TwilightDunes.. even though, in fact, probably the last thing on earth that I actually need, is another lipstick!
Thanks for your input. |

catski, I don't know if the lipsticks are shimmery - I only tried 3 of the colors. I just didn't care for the consistency & the way they looked on me.
The mineral glosses were the ones that were very shimmery - except for Twilight Dunes. It's a pretty color, but I didn't repurchase it because I have so many other ones I like better. |

Thanks Kim. I just heard somewhere else that the lippies are quite drying too, so it looks like a thumbs down.
Glad to have found out this side of ordering! |

You know, now that you mention that, I do believe they made my lips peel. I had forgotten about that (it's been quite awhile since I tried them).
But the gloss is very moisturizing - and has a very creamy texture. I did find it difficult to get it out of the tube after it was about half gone.
Also, Kimberly is great about samples (I don't think gloss samples are posted on her site), but I just emailed her & asked about them - it was no problem. So if you want to try anything, I'd recommend just emailing her - she's very nice to work with. |

That's very sweet of you Kim, to do that. You are a First Class Enabler!
I did think the other day, of retrieving every lippie from every handbag and drawer and counting up the Grand Total, and posting it here, starting a thread to see just how many lipsticks, on average, we have.
I'm sure I'm not alone in my vast collection! But the satisfaction of finding a colour and texture that really works, is a wonderful thing.
Layering different colours is a good thing with lippies.
Oooh, the possibilities are endless for an enthusiast, arent they.. I'll shut up now! |

LOL! That count was from over a year ago, so I know I have even more now.
I think your book is an excellent idea - and I love the title, LOL!!
Oh - and the lipgloss gene is hereditary - my dd has it, too! |
