What is the best website (price, shipping, service) to buy 1000 Hour Lash Colour?
Also, I am very fair, green eyes and redish hair....I was thinking of getting the brown, but everyone seems to love the blue/black. I am afraid it will be too dark for me...any opinions?
Thanks!

I am very fair, with green eyes, but blonde hair. And I think the blue/black is perfect.
Lash tint is different from mascara. It's not as intense or noticeable. It's more like it subtly darkens them from root to tip. It makes your eyes pop, but your lashes don't really stand out. I still regularly wear mascara to make my lashes more extreme.
So it's really hard to overkill with too dark a color. If you read through the whole 1000 Hour Lash thread, I think there were a few people who bought brown or plain black, and all wished they had gone darker.
As for the best site, I don't know. I ordered from the New Zealand one mentioned multiple times in the thread. There aren't that many sites, and I don't recall there being any significant differences in price between them. |

I just ordered it late Tuesday night from the 1000 hours website. I googled the name and it popped right up (the company is in Australia) It was about $20 U.S. which included shipping. I received a confirmation email Wednesday saying my payment had been accepted, then another Thursday saying it had shipped. I appreciated them keeping me updated on my orders status...and can't wait for it to arrive!!! |

I'm extremely pale, with fair/blonde hair and blue eyes, and the blue/black is great for me. I think it'll be absolutely fine for you too.
It's so wonderful to be able to see your lower lashes without covering them in smudgey mascara, and to wake up in the morning with visible lashes! |

Maybe blue/black is perfect for the summer season.
I am using blue mascara from Chanel and wearing teal and gold (Chanel)waterproof eyeliners for my summer look. |

I ordered mine from Radius. I am fair with blue eyes and don't find the blue-black too dark. |

Geminiwoman,
Have you gotten your Lash Tint? I got mine a couple weeks ago and promptly tinted my lashes. I love it! You can finally SEE my lashes. And the blue/black was perfect, it is not too dark at all.

I got it...but had to travel for work, so haven't used it yet. I'm planning to do it this week. Was it hard??? I'm a bit scared. |

Not at all, it was super easy. I didn't have any problem with stinging or staining of my skin. I just took a qtip and wiped off the colouring that got on my skin.

I got this in Dark Brown (my lashes are so blonde that you cannot see them) and I was afraid to go black.
Anyway, I tried to do this yesterday but had a dickens of a time trying to cover my lashes. So lets do a Lash Tinting for Dummies 101 - (me)
First: what is the consistency you are supposed to end up with?
Second: Does anyone really use that little white wand to apply? It would clump up on that and could not get it on my eyes....
Now, I also did my eyebrows and left it on for a short time BUT loved the results. Again - blonde so light you can hardly see it. (and I have auburn hair - go figure??)
I then tried a mascara wand and still no luck.
Someone clue me in... it cannot be so difficult if so many people love it.

Thanks Candy, it was a long read!! I guess the consistency is supposed to be gloopy.... I may have to try one of those oral brushes... see if that works. I will give it a go again... I got so very little color on my eyelashes but the brows look fab!

I give up. I struggled again with this lash tint...to no avail.
I am going to look for a different brush and may try it one more time...other than that it becomes 1000 hour eyebrow tint from here on out!! LOL

I have used this and I love it. When I ordered it I ordered two boxes. Unfortunately with one of the boxes - The hydrogen peroxide liquid leaked. None left!
Do you suppose I could use any hydrogen peroxide 3% in place of it?
Hope someone - maybe a DIU can help me! |

There are other companies that make great lash tints, or if you have problems using it go to your local salon and request it. Many do it for you and saves you the hassle. You can also try Intensives brand, i think they all require you mix a 3% peroxide. Most are made in Europe because illegal in the US although I have used for years and the worse that happens is my eyes burn! |

I third the recommendation. Radius also has a product called Hairy Lemon which is quite fun and tasty. I'm a sucker for the name. It's a supplement that works like Airborne--boosts energy and immune system.
