Anyone heard of Cara-lisa? If you go to the US ebay, search this name. This lady claims to custom make serums from a very extensive and impressive menu - to your own specifications! Opinions appreciated. |

Hi Julimarie,
If you go to the DIY section of EDS ... you'll find both recipes for custom serums and people who make them ... also from a very extensive and impressive list of actives and ingredients.
I've never heard of this woman ... but it's not a rare thing by any stretch.
Mary

i've never heard of her, so i went to ebay.com and searched for her but nothing came up except for a doll
but i would be wary of such people cos u dont really know what they actually put in ur product...she might claim to have put a certain ingredient in it but in actual fact, hasnt
its best to order from reputatable sellers or DIY. as Mary has said, there are LOADS of threads in the DIY forum of skincare recipes and reviews...and if u do have questions re DIY then there are lots of people here to help u out, rather than spending $$$ on this lady claiming to custom make skincare products |

It won't hurt to try out if the cost is not substantial. She may not be known to this forum doesn't mean she cannot be good. But as many as pointed out already, the DIY here probably is a safer bet. |

it sounds kind of fishy to me.
putting the same ingredients does not mean same results. some ingredients are very unstable, such as Vit.C.
It would be best to buy from reputable sellers/companies.
besides, there's really no way to know if they are putting what they say they are putting. |
