Has anyone tried this hair care line? It looks amazing, and is apparently getting rave reviews! My sister said she tried the Love shampoo and it was by far the best shampoo she's ever tried. Anyone else?
The line is Italian and the website is kind of confusing:www.davines.com
Looks like all natural ingredients, apothecary style formulations. I'm excited to try this as an alternative to Phyto!

Hey Avalange, the site IS confusing. Can;t find the price for the shampoo, for example. All it shows is the product and lots of flowers and wind rushing by... How fun, but not very constructive. How did you get to the actual shopping? |

Hi Existential Lady!
I only heard about the products second hand from my sister, who owns a hair salon and will be selling them there... She returned Bumble and bumble to the manufacturer and got this instead... She called me in France just to rave about it! If you do a google search on the products, a lot of positive reviews come up.
I agree the website is VERY confusing--lacking information architecture, in my opinion!

I like the products, if only for the fragrance- reminds me of vanilla.
I've tried the shampoos but nothing special, left my fine hair limp and greasy. I do like the No.3 mousse tho, and the No.4 glossy putty, and the No9 hairspray. Not too "holding" but leaves a nice frag and a beautiful sheen.
I have always bought mine from a salon. Never found them at any store or website. Made in Parma, Italy.
They can be combined endlessly for diff variations on hold, texture, etc. HTH |
