I have been using this for two nights and my eyes are very irritated (red and runny). I am also experiencing some eylash fallout. NO, this is not normal for me.
Is this normal on JM and will it go away?

Whoa. I use RL and never had anything like that? Where did you purchase from? That sounds a little over the top but I'm not a pro.

I did experience some redness with using JM. Actually the whole time i've used it I've had a reddish line on my lids where I have applied, but I know a lot of people experienced that with the old formula at least. Apparentely the new one isn't supposed to irritate as much. If it is the new formula that you're using then maybe you're allergic to one of the ingrediants, especially as you've been using it for such a short period of time.
Again some people said they did experience some lashes falling out to begin with, but considering this is already happening and you've only been using it for 2 nights then perhaps you should discontinue using the product. |

I used the product last year, and it DID produce extra long lashes. HOWEVER, my eyes became very dry, I had red discoloration of the eyelids--and after lots of research, I'm convinced that you're taking a BIG chance using something so untested. Cellular change is a big deal, and not worth ANY cosmetic benefit. |

I'm returning my tube, and going to research Ardell. From the price, does not look like it contains latanoprost, the glaucoma medication that's causing all the side effects. Can't believe 'they' can get away with not listing such a serious component. Good ol' FDA. |

When I was searching on the JM or RL topics, I recall seeing a post by someone in Taiwan who had a severe reaction like yours or worse. She was really angry about it. I think you should stop using the product. It's not worth risking your eyesight. Hope you feel better soon, Pippi_Plum. |

Thank you all for the advice and concern
I guess I am a bit stubborn since it was such an expensive product. I am still using it, just using very little. I am now worried that it is too little to do anything LOl.
My irritation is much better (still a bit) but nothing like before. If I still have even a little after another week I will discontinue the product
I wanted this to work for me so bad, hopefully my eyes will adjust

You're not suppose to use a lot.. it won't help much more if you apply more product. A little swipe across the lashline is enough. |

Pip, I know how you feel about not wanting to waste money. I still had half a tube left of RL when I finally discarded it because it caused my eyes to turn red and they were dry and brittle. So please be careful. I hope you won't have to throw yours away. |
