I gave so much expectation on this balm since I am a fan of Decleor. Very disappointed, not cheap priced as $28 but not even as good as Kiehl's lip moisturizer. It doesn't last long and don't feel my lips are truly moisturized.

I'm using it now, it's pretty ok with me, and it lasts long, so the price is not that high in this sense.

I like the Decleor lip balm fine but don't think it's something I'd repurchase. I use it for variety's sake at the moment and I like the smell / tasate.

For longer lasting moisturizing, check out Candessence's Lip Service www.candessence.com (which is really a lip treatment though some use it as a balm) or Eucerin Aquaphor (which does have petroleum based ingredients) - they do make a smaller one that you can use as a balm -- if you can't find the small one, you have to use your fingers to apply from a larger container.

I actually really liked this lip balm. Someone kindly sent me a sample of it a while back and I was pleasantly surprised. Though I agree that it is rather pricey for what is essentially just a lip balm that didn't do anything that amazing for my lips in the long term.
There are so many great lip balms that are much cheaper around, so it's not something I'd purchase for myself.

I love this lip balm for its lovely smell and light texture (in comparison to other lip balms I'm using), but I find it not moisturizing enough. I have to reapply every hour to keep my lips from going dry. Plus it's rather expensive for what it is. I much prefer Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm or Lip Care Stick. They work ten times better and they're much cheaper as well.

As to me, it's more than moisturizing, I only use a tiny amount every morning and night, and it can be effective for the whole 12 hours. I love the smell as well, and according to my pace, it can last more than a year, I guess. While it IS rich, so don't know whether to repurchase, yeah, there're so many good lip balms.

It does seem to last a long time. I haven't even made a dent in it!

This is my absolute favorite lip balm! I have one on my nightstand at all times. I LOVE the smell and, for me anyway, it stay on all night and I wake up with nice soft lips.

I was surprised to read so about so many that weren't crazy about it.

I think it's nice but I don't think I would repurchase it. I have found other things that work well for less $$.

Sorry to hear that. This is actually one of my fave lip balms. I like the slightly cinnamony taste but more importantly it keeps my lips hydrated and (somehow) makes them appear more plump than they really are.
